ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The early voting period of the 2024 election ends at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2.

More than 3.8 million people in North Carolina voted during the early voting period, which is roughly half of the total of registered voters in the state.

Voters can register to vote and vote in person at the same time during early voting, though can’t vote on election day unless registered by Oct. 11.

For those who have not voted, in-person voting ends on election day, which is Tuesday, Nov. 5.
