SBOE Rulemaking Hearing

On April 20 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, the NC State Board of Elections will host a virtual meeting to discuss temporary changes to emergency rules to help in the response to the corona virus outbreak. The changes would clarify that the state elections director is allowed to use emergency action during elections in the case of a “disease epidemic”— an important first step in ensuring that our elections officials can respond to the current public health situation.
