The Road Ahead

With the 2020 election behind us, the Democratic and Republican legislative caucuses are getting down to business, electing their leadership teams and setting the legislative agenda. Join us, Wednesday, December 9th, 5-6 pm, for a discussion with current House Majority Whip Jon Hardister (R-Guilford) and former House Minority Whip Rep. Verla Insko (D-Orange) on redistricting politics and prospects in the coming session.

We’ll take a closer look at process and criteria reforms to secure a more open and participatory process for the 2021 redrawing, with or without commission-drawn maps.
