Track Your Absentee Ballot

There’s a new tool from the NC Board of Elections that allows you to track your Absentee Ballot from when you mail it to when it’s received at the BOE. First you create an account. Then you can log in at any time to see if your request has been received, if the ballot has been mailed to you, and if your completed ballot has been received by the BOE. You can sign up for email, text, and/or voice alerts for status updates.

You can still check your absentee ballot status the old way by using the Voter Lookup Tool though this does not give the status of your ballot request, only the Absentee Ballot itself.
